That's Moonface, along with the children Jo, Bessie, Fanny and some friends.
Thanks for "pointing out" the error in the Moonface graphic, anonymous friend in comments section. ;-)
The slippery-slip (explained in the last post) starts from the centre of MoonFace's house... The dark hole you see at the centre of the following photo is the 'Slippery-Slip'.
That first picture is wrong in so many ways...
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with it?
ReplyDeleteIt's Jo, Bessie and Fanny. Or it was before little children clearly became unable to comprehend such names as 'Bessie' and 'Fanny'. Also the picture in question is rather amusing at closer inspection... snigger.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Yes, I see what you're saying....very clearly now! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll fix the errors immediately. Thanks a lot! :-)
tc.
I really do wonder what the artist was thinking, when he or she made this picture...!
ReplyDeletei remember this! god, what a nostalgia trip :D if i remember there was a tv show of some sorts
ReplyDeleteHi There, I am currently reading all the Enid Blyton Books and I noticed that in approx 1993 they changed the kids names to Joe, Beth and Frannie. Is that because the old ones aren't so popular nowadays, ithink they should have just left them.
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous, yes, I agree that they should not have changed the names.
ReplyDeleteI expect that they have been changed to avoid offending Americans who seem to be able to read perversion into all sorts of things that are British.
ReplyDeleteM T Mabowels, are you referring to 'Fanny'? :)
